October 2009 Surfside Marina Newsletter

We are very pleased to welcome Coastal Marina Management to our team. Our owners have requested CMM to oversee all day to day operations of the marina.

 

They have an open door policy and always welcome your comments.

 

 We will be sending a quarterly newsletter to keep everyone on top of things. Do not hesitate to forward information you would like to see added to the newsletter.

Surfside Marina hosted several tournaments this summer with top prize money. Coincidentally, some of our own tenants were big winners:

 

Brett Holden and Team on Booby Trap placed first in The Houston Invitational Billfish hosted by Houston Big Game Fishing Club.

 

Shayne Babich and Team placed first

Russell Lindley, Mike Dowell and Team on Six Chicks placed second in

1st Annual Texas Tuna Mania Tournament  hosted by John Cochrane and Bobby Byrd.

 

Hold'm and Hit'm Club Tournament was another big success and they will be returning next year.

 

Surfside Marina was an official weigh station for the Texas CCA/STAR and recorded several of the winners for the tournamnet:

Graham Bucek 3rd Runner Up 46lb 10oz Kingfish
