The 2nd Annual Texas Swordfish Seminarand “Everyday Heroes”Disabled Veterans Benefit will be March 24, 2012 …….BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER !!!! Last year was a huge success raising right at $80,000.00…. Last years donations bought the Everyday Heroes a new van and we hope to double that this year !!!!! Your admission gets you a door prize ticket…One door prize will be an Invitation to fish as a guest on our 52′ Viking THE BOOBY TRAP on one of our offshore adventures !!!! The www.boobytrapfishingteam.com website will be updated on a daily basis. We are going to do our best this year to make sure everyone that attends feels confident they can GET TIGHT on Swordfish day or night …. The Booby Trap Fishing Team along with Holden Roofing Inc. will be putting on the seminar and Everyday Heroes Benifit and it will be hosted by and held at beautiful SURFSIDE MARINA in Surfside Texas same location as last year… The “Get Tight Lil Suckas” Kids fishing tournament was a big hit last year so we are planning that again for sure ( all tackle furnished )………. We will be looking for and listing Sponsors as we go and just from what we are hearing it looks like we have some really good ones stepping up already… Most of last years sponsors have been asking off and on all year about the seminar so Im really hoping to double or triple the funds raised for the benefit in 2012 !!!! The Everyday Heroes will have the van they purchased last year at the seminar and I can’t wait to see it…. What a great cause to give back to those who gave so much for us !!!! We plan on having Food, live entertainment, lots of great raffle items, live auction, silent auction, Kids fishing tournament, lots of venders with all kinds of tackle and boating equiptment… The Booby Trap Fishing Team and friend RJ Boyle of South Florida will be answering questions on rigging swordfish baits, discussing depths and areas to fish for monster swordfish… Daytime and nighttime techniques !!! RJ is a great swordfisherman and artist well known for swordfishing and swordfish bill art up and down the east coast…Weather you have caught swordfish or not in the Gulf of Mexico you don’t want to miss this one.

Slated for July 26 - 28, the new 42/Forty-Two Shootout will be hosted by Surfside Marina. Forty-two boats, all 42' and under in length, will compete in two days of fishing for Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo.
